Papa Jason & Grandma Nean's Visit

Mike's parents were able to be here right after Lexi was born, but they only stayed a couple days. Basically until we got home. So... it was time for a real visit!! They were able to come down last Wednesday and stay until Monday. It was so much fun! While they were here, Lexi really went through a growth spurt and started trying to interact more. She also was able to take her 1st "big girl" bath (as seen in the post below). Alexia got plenty of hugs & kisses and was spoiled way too much! ;) She now doesn't like for mommy to put her down during the day. I guess they will just have to come back soon so I can get something done during the day.

I don't think this picture does her stomach justice. She had just gotten done eating and was STUFFED. I have never seen a baby's stomach stick out so far. She didn't want to move.

Big Girl Bath

The stump has finally fallen off and we were able to give Lexi her 1st real bath! Like all things that we have done so far, we'll get better at baths in time. Lucky for us she is a very patient little girl.

Our baby girl turned a month old Feb. 19th. Time is going way too fast!! What a blessing she has been in our lives though! We couldn't be more thankful for her!!!

1st visit to daddy's office

We took our first big outing (that didn't involve going to the doctor) yesterday! Mike has Monday's off, so we decided it would be fun to just go walk around the mall. Mom was in need of some "fresh air". Here are a couple pictures... we got Lexi all dolled up for the ultimate girly pastime.

Turns out she's not as big of a fan of the mall as her mom. At least not yet. She slept the whole time we were there. I honestly don't think she attempted to open her eyes once. Someday she'll share the love of shopping with me... at least I hope so! Until then- I'll just enjoy shopping for her!!!
