Papa & Gaga Grimes visit

Mike's parents were able to come for a visit a couple weeks ago. They were only here a few days, but we made the most of it!

ABC's

Lexi has learned how to sing the ABC's. Well, at least part of them. She has decided to leave out I through V. Looks like we still have some work to do. :)

Spring Hill Country Ham Festival

(Just a note: there are a total of 3 new blog posts. I may have been bored.)

I was very excited about this festival! I heard about it last year, but for some reason we ended up not going. Now that we live down here though... we had no choice but to go! The weather was beautiful! We had lots of fun but realized Lexi will enjoy it more next year, when she's old enough to really do the activities.

I was pretty impressed at how unafraid she was of the talking dog. She kept waving to him and tried to get as close as she could.Picking out a necklace.
This is the Target dog. She very badly wanted to go see him.

Again, I was very impressed that she actually got this close to him.

Papa & Gaga Septer's visit

My parents came to visit at the end of September. It was so nice having them here! Mike & I went to Chattanooga over night. Steven Curtis Chapman was in concert there, so that was Mike's birthday present. On Mike's actual birthday, we went out to eat & to a Predators game. (It was my 1st hockey game, and I loved it! I can't wait to go back!) Having my parents here meant having a build-in babysitter, and that was something we really enjoyed! I think Lexi may have enjoyed it more than us though. She sure knows how to work her Gaga & Papa! :)

My mom brought down my Pooh bear. Lexi took to him fast! She loves to laying on him!

I got this table for her at ToysRUs. It's perfect because she has become obssesed w/coloring.

She helped me decorate Mike's birthday cake. The little dots between her & the cake pan are the sprinkles she spilled. :)

She also got her hand in the icing. She knew exactly how to clean it off! :)
